Petra Pohořská was elected the Entrepreneur of the Year 2019 in the Olomouc Region
Petra Pohořská, co-owner and chief operating officer of ABO valve, won the 14th year of the EY Entrepreneur of the Year competition in the Olomouc Region. The jury headed by Radka Prokopová from Alca plast appreciated, among other things, the perseverance and courage with which Pohořská plunged into establishing business partnerships across the continents, as well as dedication to the family business and respect for the father who was at the birth of a successful business.
The EY Entrepreneur Of The Year® (EY Podnikatel roku) is a prestigious global entrepreneurship competition organized annually by Ernst & Young. The decisive criterion of the competition is not only financial results, but also a business story, honesty and international overlap.
We have our fingers crossed for Petra to go even further into the following nationwide round of the competition, whose results will be announced on March 3 in Prague. The winner of the nationwide round will represent the Czech Republic in June at the Monte Carlo World Finals..
